You can choose your way of new life. Climb each step and see where your life is heading…
Sedona Mago Retreat is building a new area for health and spiritual reflection. The area is being designated as “The Way of New Life”.
Ilchi Lee’s message
Ilchi Lee recently visited the retreat center and led a group to the site to introduce the 120 steps. The 120 steps represent his new book’s concept that each individual can have a life span of 120 years. He has decided to live 120 years. This may seem optimistic, however if we utilize the first 60 years of life to energize our physical bodies (rather than feeling like a clenched fist concerned about unimportant details) then we’ll spend the next 60 years developing our inner energy, leading to a more passionate life, attaining spiritual happiness and growth, a rebirth into our true nature, a life where we can use 100 percent of our brain power to be humans devoting their time for the betterment of humanity and the earth. 120 years will still not seem long enough to accomplish all we will wish to do and share with others!
Meaning of 120 steps
Spiritual completion is the goal of each soul in the tradition of Tao. To help people see life as a journey to that completion, we are building the 120 steps as a pathway representing this new way of life, one step for each year for a complete 120 years. This pathway, while serving as a site for meditation and reflection, will also promote the ideals that Tao Fellowship envisions, spiritual completion for the individual and for the whole human race.
How Sedona Mago Retreat will utilize your donations
At three points along the 120 steps will be canopied areas giving the soul the ability to rest, meditate and visualize one’s life clearly; seeing where one is along the path. At the top of the 120 steps will be Bliss Rock, a place of Chun Hwa. It is a place of beauty, of peace, of preciousness, of energy, and the place where you have a 360 degree view of the retreat and the surrounding Red Rocks. It is a place that provides one’s inner being the pure energy to create a new life.
Climbing the steps will give you a better view of those things below and more importantly the heights each of us is able to reach! Clarity in thoughts will embolden us to make wiser decisions, to live our life in the Tao tradition of Hong Ik.
The project of building the 120 steps at the Sedona Mago Retreat will need our donor support to complete its construction. Because we are a nonprofit 501 (c) 3 organization (Tax ID #86-0923295), any donations made are eligible to be a tax exemption for your charitable contribution. Consider making a donation of one dollar for each step.
