Sedona Full Moon Lantern Festival

A Celebration of Self-Renewal

Release and Restore

Join us for a magical night celebrating the restorative healing properties of the full moon. The Sedona Full Moon Lantern Festival is a sacred time of celebration. We provide live music and cultural dance performances, a calligraphy art exhibition, vortex tour, Taiko drumming and wellness classes–from sound healing, detox and Qigong, to Qi-energy and calligraphy–children’s crafts, and face painting festivities for adults and children to enjoy.

During the Sedona Full Moon Lantern Festival you will experience the powerful, motherly nature and vortex energies magnified by the powers of the full moon. You get to embrace our beautiful natural surroundings, our sacred land of majestic red rocks, and experience an intense level of expanded consciousness.

Feel free to extend the moment by staying overnight to enjoy our sunrise meditation, which offers an opportunity to reflect on the previous night while getting in touch with your deeper self.

Celebrate and Receive

Every full moon offers a window to express love, gratitude, and sincere wishes for you and your loved ones.

Traditionally regarded as a time of reflecting on personal goals, releasing old habits, forgiveness, and honoring loved ones who have passed, the highlight of Sedona Full Moon Lantern Festival is an opportunity to light and float a lantern filled with your intentions for joy, peace, and prosperity.

You can write a wish for yourself, friends, family, and/or loved ones who have departed. Assisted by the transformative nature of fire, you’ll set your intentions alight in a lantern and send them off at Mago’s Healing Lake.

Through guided, outdoor meditations, we will harness the energies of the Full Moon and our surrounding sacred vortex sites to bless and amplify your intentions.
