‘Using the Body to Enlighten the Mind’

Tao Qigong Self-Mastery maximizes the power of your body and mind. This training is based on the development and use of one’s Qi, or energy, which gives life and vitality to your body. You will learn how to control Qi (energy) by accepting Qi (energy) through active movement and by awareness on the breath.

With focused intention, you will find that inner development, self-awareness and body alignment come naturally. The movements are so powerful that you’ll be able to feel changes in your body after repeating a single movement!

By combining traditional martial arts with dance and vibrational healing, Tao Qigong helps to open stagnant chakras, enabling you to benefit from both physical strengthening and inner healing, with the ultimate goal of self-empowerment.

Tao Qigong is comprised of three components. First is Qi, or Primal Energy, referring to the basic essence of the universe from which all life arises. Next, is Nothingness, which encourages you to release all preconceived identities and limiting beliefs that are holding you back, allowing you to become a blank slate. By emptying yourself, you can be open to experiencing the oneness of all existence and are thus prepared to receive and embody the primal energy of the cosmos. The final principle is simply Study, or Concentration, affirming your commitment to learning the movements and principals of Tao Qigong.

With continued practice, Tao Qigong allows you to develop your ability to sense and direct your energy. You will experience how to increase your sensitivity to Qi energy, how to build your focus through breathing, and how to circulate energy to achieve your goals. After 4 days of on-site training in beautiful Sedona, Arizona, you will feel strengthened, more alive, and energetically balanced. And once you go home, the benefits continue, as you will receive 3 months of extended support in our online community, with follow-up instruction classes that meet once a week.

Joint & Relaxation Exercises – Systemic Forms and Improvement of Circulation

Basic training method of Tao Qigong – This stage relaxes the mind and body before going into Qigong training and raises the temperature of the body.

Stress Relief (Becoming Aware of Energy). Feel more energetic as we begin to activate your Qi. Connecting the breath to focus on the natural Qi that flows through your body

Energy Moving Meditation — 12 Forms (Movements for Joint Circulation)

Balance your body and mind –  This Moving Meditation is a life-enhancing set of movements that express the idea of Heaven and Earth. Feel both grounded to the Earth and connected to Spirit as you connect with the energy of each movement, used to circulate blood and energy to the joints.

Lower Chakra Strengthening — 7 Forms (Lower Body Training for the Hip and Spine). 7 movements to correct spine, hip, and pelvic alignment
Train the lower body around the DahnJon (Lower Energy Center). By releasing resistance in the upper body, we create strength in the lower body.

Hyesung is a Certified Level 3 Black Belt in DahnMuDo (the Korean Healing Martial Arts) and a Certified Health Coach. Her classes guide students to reclaim their self-worth, enabling them to manifest their dreams and become the masters of their lives.
