COVID-19 Guidelines for Your Stay
Sedona Mago Center for Well Being and Retreat is committed to the health of our guests and staff. To our great delight, we have found that attendees to programs in 2020 have been able to have transformative experiences while following all Arizona public health protocols. As we look to provide optimum experiences for all guests while attending to the lessons our operations staff has learned this past year, management has decided to make changes to our arrival policy in 2021.
For our guests to have the best spiritual experience, we are updating our policies. These policies are designed to not only comply with federal, state, and local regulations but to most importantly allay any fears that attendees might have regarding other guests during their instruction. It is our desire to keep Sedona Mago Retreat a “fear-free zone” by following these guidelines.
We have adjusted our arrival policy:
- Provide either (1) a negative COVID test result or (2) proof of full vaccination card/document. See additional information and requirements for both options below:
- Pass screening questionnaire upon arrival
- Pass temperature check of less than 100 F upon arrival
- Medical Grade Masks are mandatory and there will not be any exceptions allowed including medical conditions. Masks will be required at all times including meeting spaces, welcome center, and dining when not eating as requested by Mago signage and staff. Masks are available at the retreat center.
Negative COVID Test
Please provide a negative COVID test result, whether paper or electronic, upon arrival at the retreat center. Tests should be conducted no earlier than five (5) days prior to arrival. All versions of negative test results are accepted. If you wish, electronic versions of the test can be emailed to email@example.com.

Testing is also available at Costco: Click Here
Positive COVID test results or previously tested positive or COVID like symptoms
All guests who test positive for COVID and/or have a current infection will not be welcomed. Guests should contact the welcome center via email or phone to reschedule their program.
If you tested positive for COVID and/or had COVID-like symptoms in the past, we will still require a negative COVID test conducted within five (5) days of your arrival.
Prior to your visit, please make sure you are not experiencing any COVID symptoms such as fever, chills, cough, shortness of breath, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headaches, loss of taste and/or smell, sore throat, congestion, runny nose, nausea, vomiting or diarrhea. Upon arrival, there will be a screening process that includes a questionnaire and temperature check. Any guests with COVID-like symptoms upon arrival will be asked to leave.
If you fall under this category, please contact the welcome center at firstname.lastname@example.org and provide your name, phone number, and any relevant information in regards to your case. We will respond to you on a case-to-case basis.
Management is closely watching the COVID situation and staying abreast of new developments. The CDC and experts are still learning more about COVID and information about the spreading of COVID is still being researched.
According to the CDC, as of March 8, 2021, people are considered fully vaccinated for COVID after 2 or more weeks have passed since receiving the final dose.
A fully vaccinated guest with a minimum of 2 or more weeks after final dose:
- Arriving guests are required to email or show physical proof of vaccination
- Wear masks, maintain physical distance, and practice other preventative measures
- Get tested if experiencing COVID symptoms
Vaccinated guests without the minimum 2 or more weeks after the final dose:
- Will still be required to provide a negative COVID test and adhere to the COVID arrival policy as stated above
This policy is effective immediately and shall remain in effect until May 31, 2021. Sedona Mago reserves the right to adjust and change our policies as needed. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to serving you.
Should you have any questions or concerns, please contact the welcome center and we will be glad to assist you. Have a wonderful 2021.

Facility and Maintenance Upgrades in 2021
Sedona Mago Center for Well-being and Retreat is committed to the health of our guests and staff. The retreat center is in the process of modernizing and upgrade all of the HVAC (air conditioning and heating systems) in the welcome center, dining hall, meeting spaces, and shared guest spaces to include ultraviolet (UV) technology to help create a safer guest and staff experience. The retreat center’s goal is to have all the upgrades completed in the first and second quarter of 2021.
