Simple‌ ‌Technique‌ ‌to‌ ‌Open‌ ‌your‌ ‌Full‌ ‌Potential‌

According to the principles of Mago mindfulness or the ancient Korean practices we teach at Sedona Mago Center for Well-being and Retreat, everything runs according to the law of nature. The law of nature is about two opposites coming together in order to create balance.  As a result, to create balance, what comes inside must flow out. It cannot stay inside. For instance, when you eat food, the food cannot stay inside of you. That food must be released and returned to nature. If the food cannot be released, then your body will suffer in some way.

This same principle of in and out flow applies to your brain, emotions and everything. Anything that flows in, must flow out.

If you are like most in today’s society, you have done a good job of accumulating information and emotional baggage  – almost to the point of overload. The problem that most people have is not knowing how to release this information overload as well as the emotional baggage.

At Sedona Mago Center for Well-being and Retreat, we teach many methods, however, today we want to show you one simple method that you can do anytime.

Whole Body Tapping

Whole body tapping has many different benefits. In terms of energy, whole body tapping creates vibrations in your body and lets the stagnant energy move. Information overload and emotional baggage is stagnant energy.

Whole body tapping also returns your focus and awareness back to your body. When your focus is not in your mind, you become grounded in this present moment. If you can do this often enough, you become aware of what is going on inside of you.

Optional Warm-up – Shaking

Before you go into whole body tapping, you can shake your body. Shaking is also another way to move energy.

Shaking is done by gently bouncing your body up and down. When you bounce, you shake your shoulders and dangle your arms. It is also important to keep your jaw, neck and shoulders relaxed. Be sure to breathe out of your mouth during this exercise as well. Do not hold your breath. The energy of your breath must flow out.

While you are shaking, visualize all the tension in your body being released every time you breathe out. Also, visualize the stress and clatter being released from your brain.

Shake for about 5 minutes then slow down and observe the sensations in your body. Some of you may feel a tingling sensation. That is energy moving throughout your body. Which also means blood is circulating better.

Whole Body Tapping Instructions

Use your fingertips, palm, and/or fist to tap your body – not too soft and not too hard.

With a gentle smile on your face, start tapping from the top of your head and move all the way down to your feet. You can do this tapping organically or you can follow the order we teach at Sedona Mago –  head, neck, left arm, right arm, chest, upper abdomen, hips, legs and end with the lower abdomen.

Once you have finished tapping, take a moment to feel your body and observe. Take a deep breath in and out. Notice the body temperature change and depth of your breath.

Activated Energy

Now that you have finished tapping, your energy is activated. This activated energy will move stagnant negative energy so that you can create balance. Creating balance will open you to your full potential.
