Tools to Heal: Immersion is a non-clinical, transformative 4-day 3-night healing retreat designed for those navigating burnout, grief, life transitions, or disconnection—and for anyone ready to deepen their connection to their energy, intuition, and inner guidance.

In this fully embodied, in-person experience, you’ll engage with practices in real time through meditation, energy awareness, and guided exercises. Learn to regulate your nervous system, gain clarity, and reconnect with yourself in a grounded, supportive environment.

You’ll leave with practical tools to support your emotional wellness and personal growth in everyday life.

Daily Schedule

  • Morning Session: 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM 
  • Afternoon Session: 1:30 PM – 4:30 PM 
  • Evening Session: 7:30 PM – 8:30 PM

Practical Information / FAQ

This healing retreat is designed for both beginners and those with an existing practice. Everything is taught step-by-step in a clear, accessible way, so you can feel comfortable no matter where you’re starting.

Our approach is practical and grounded—focused on helping you experience and understand your energy, rather than trying to “do it perfectly.” Many participants find this approach more natural and approachable than traditional meditation.

If you’re new, you’ll be gently guided into the foundations.
If you have experience, you’ll deepen and expand your practice in meaningful ways.

It offers practical tools for self-awareness, emotional regulation, and energy-based practices to support your overall well-being. If you are currently working with a therapist or healthcare provider, we recommend consulting with them to ensure this healing retreat is a good fit. You or your provider are also welcome to reach out with any questions to ensure it aligns with your care.

Required Reading

Required Reading. Planet Walking: A Handbook for the Living by Gina Cavalier is a required companion to this retreat and will be referenced throughout the experience.

Participants are encouraged to review in advance if possible. Copies will also be available for purchase in the Welcome Center upon arrival.

She is the bestselling author of Surviving Suicidal Ideation, a compassionate guide that has helped countless individuals through their most difficult moments. Her second book, Planet Walking: A Handbook for the Living (2026), expands on this work through embodied mindfulness, understanding our themes and gifts, and our relationship with the Earth. As Wellness Program Director at Sedona Mago Retreat Center, Gina curates and leads transformative wellness experiences and designs and guides signature programs.
